About Me
I'm Dylan Lawless, a Senior Product Designer based in Dublin, Ireland. For the past 6+ years I've been building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms across mobile and web — the operational software that shift-based teams run their day on.
Right now I lead product design at Bizimply, where I'm driving the redesign of a 56,000+ MAU mobile platform, a React-first frontend migration, and the design system that underpins both. Before that I was the sole designer at UnifyOrdering, and before that — a frontend developer. That path shapes how I work: close to the code, close to the commercial outcome, and biased toward systems that outlast individual features.
How I work
Systems before screens
Every platform I've worked on outgrew its UI. Tokens, components, and governance are how design survives scale — I've built design systems at both companies I've worked for.
Fluent in engineering
I started as a frontend developer, and it shows: design-to-code workflows, React-first thinking, and specs engineers actually want to build from.
Design that pays for itself
The work I'm proudest of has commercial numbers attached — pricing strategy, go-to-market, adoption metrics. Design earns its seat by moving them.
